10 a.m. – Awards Ceremony  – Sandy Heisey -Vocalist

For more than 25 years, singer and pianist Sandy Heisey has entertained audiences throughout Pennsylvania. She has sung the national anthem for the Philadelphia Phillies and Lancaster Barnstormers and performed for many charity and entertainment functions. Join us on the M&T Bank Stage as we present the booth awards and kick off the Women’s Show with Sandy’s amazing performance.

 

11 a.m. – Weis – Edible Solutions for Living YOUTHfully Ever-After

You can’t stop the aging process, but you can slow it down. Join Weis Markets’ Sandy Cacioppo and Mandy Rother to learn how to add antioxidant-rich foods into easy and delicious recipes to prevent chronic disease, look younger and feel energized.
 

Noon – TJ Maxx Fashion Show

Experience some of the latest fashion trends available for modern women. Models will show a variety of fashion options for every woman’s taste, all available at T.J. Maxx stores.

 

1 p.m. – Keynote Speakers, Lori Burkholder and Jere Gish – WGAL News 8

With decades of broadcasting experience between them, Lori Burkholder and Jere Gish have reported on thousands of stories, from the everyday to the unusual and everything in-between. Don’t miss this keynote address by the co-anchors of WGAL’s “News 8 Today” highlighting their unique experiences in television broadcasting. 

 

2 p.m. – McGinley School of Irish Dance

The largest Irish dance school in central Pennsylvania, the McGinley School of Irish Dance performs more than 70 shows each year throughout Pennsylvania, New York and Ireland including performances at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall, the Giant Center and the Helix Theatre in Dublin, Ireland.  Join us for this crowd-pleasing combination of traditional reels, jigs and dances mixed with a modern flair.

 

3 p.m. – Mycenea Worley
Mycenea Worley’s solo acoustic show is delightfully diverse including original music as well as rock, R&B, pop and country favorites. In only her second year as a solo performer, she was voted “Best Female Vocalist” at the 2009 “717 Awards". Don’t miss this gutsy performance from one of the area’s best new vocal talents. 

 

4 p.m. – Innovations Dance Center

Innovations Dance Studio is an energetic, exciting, fun-loving group of performers who dance to a variety of music from the 1950s to the present. They have performed at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, Universal Studios Orlando, Hershey Park, the Philadelphia 76ers pre-game show, and many other venues.  Your entire family is sure to love this lively dance performance!

Noon – Kids Blitz Fashion Show

Don’t miss the Kids Blitz models as they showcase trendy and affordable clothing for girls. Pieces are exclusive to Kids Blitz Boutique and fit girls’ sizes 3/4 to 12/14. Check out the fall 2009 line!

 

1 p.m. – Dancers of the Nile

Dancers of the Nile, a Middle Eastern dance troupe, has entertained at many local functions and strives to educate audiences on the ethnic beauty of dance.  The dancers use props such as canes, swords, zills, skirts, and veils while performing the many body movements common to the dance.  A hit at the 2008 Women’s Show, these impressive dancers are sure to once again entertain young and old alike.

 

2 p.m. –Valerie Nicole Band

Valerie Nicole has had a passion for music since childhood, singing in choirs since the age of six and playing the piano since age seven.  She now performs her own original pop rock songs in venues throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey and just released her second album. Don’t miss this accomplished artist and her band in a soulful, energetic performance.

 

3 p.m. – Hanover School of Ballet

This award-winning ballet company has performed throughout the United States and in 11 foreign countries, including the People’s Republic of China. Be on hand for this energetic performance of song and dance.

 

4 p.m. – The Girlfriends’ Game, Sponsored by Lébo Skin Care Center
Join Joe Black from 98.5 The Peak in a game that tests true friendship.  Teams of best friends will show just how much they really know about each other in a fun-filled competition.  The lucky winners will receive a weekend getaway to Washington, D.C., compliments of Omega Travel.
